Flying Dragon Qigong

Flying Dragon Qigong was created to stimulate the entire mind-body-spirit (internal organs, nervous system, lymphatic system, cardiovascular system, neuroendocrine system, psycho-emotional system, musculoskeletal system and Qi meridian system) through deceptively simple physical actions performed with mental visualizations while walking in a circle. Devised by Li, Ching Yuen, preserved by the Li family and brought into the light of science by Dr. John Painter, Flying Dragon Qigong is an internal cleansing therapy that allows you to simultaneously rarefy your spirit, refine your mind and purify your body.

Practicing this simple series of exercises combined with mental visualizations will open the three mind / body energy centers paving the way for an increase of Qi flow through all meridian Qi channels. This practice will also calm the mind and induce a state of tranquility similar seated or standing meditation.

Many people have reported decreased stress levels, reduction in blood pressure, improvements in confidence, better concentration, lower anxiety levels, less emotional irritability, decreased pain intensity and a dramatic improvement of stamina, grace and overall health resulting from Flying Dragon Qigong practice. Flying Dragon is simple and easy to learn and can be practiced in very little space. It is truly an ancient exercise for modern stressful times.

Flying Dragon Qigong encompasses seated meditation, gentle Daoist yoga, standing meditation, and circle walking.  No matter your present age or state of health, you will find benefits of incalculable value if you begin a consistent daily practice of Flying Dragon Qigong.

Dr. Orchard offers a foundation Flying Dragon Qigong course called Discovering the Three Treasures, an intermediate course called Clearing the Dragon’s Path, and an advanced course called the Nine Healing Circles (Jiu Rao Jian Qigong).

No previous experience is necessary.
